For patients arriving on foot or by public transit who require assistance, the golf cart valet service is free and will remain available. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
CURRENTLY:
1) Cambie Street will be closed to vehicle traffic in both directions from West 41st Avenue to West 49th Avenue to support crane activity at the Oakridge Park development. YOU CAN ONLY TRAVL EAST ON W41 AVE and TURN RIGHT ONTO CAMBIE ST. TO ENTER PARKADE. Please let the traffic control personnel know you are heading to the medical dental building and be allowed access.
The closure is taking place now until March 28. During this time, access to the building parkade will be adjusted as outlined below:
March 27-28 Crane Removal Work
- Vehicles can only travel eastbound on West 41st Avenue and turn right onto Cambie Street to enter the building parkade. A median crossover will be in place to facilitate access.
- At the intersection of West 41st Avenue and Cambie Street, please inform the VPD officer and Traffic Control Personnel that you are heading to the Medical Dental Building. They will assist and direct you accordingly.
- When exiting, vehicles are restricted to right turns only.
2) Access to and from the parkade will be reduced to single-lane alternating traffic from time to time to accommodate construction work.
3) The north pedestrian stairwell leading to the Medical and Dental Building will be reopened on March 20.
ON-GOING:
1) Vehicle entering the parkade must be under 6'6".
2) There is currently no elevator servicing the medical building.
If you arrive via Public Transit and are unable to walk the stairs, free Golf Cart Shuttle Service is provided. Please contact security for golf cart valet 604-269-2103 or call our office at 604-261-8168 for any assistance.
Arriving via Car, free parking. Entry is on Cambie St., spiral up to P5/rooftop for direct access to the 3F.
